Our Peanut Butter Jelly Burnt Cheesecake takes the familiar combination of peanut butter and fruit jam and rebuilds it as a rich, textured burnt cheesecake. The creamy cheesecake provides the main structure, while blueberry jam introduces a concentrated berry element through the middle and peanut butter crumble adds a roasted, nutty finish on top. Rather than blending everything together, the components are deliberately kept visible so that each texture can still be recognised.
The flavour is built in clear layers:
(a) the burnt cheesecake creates a rich, creamy base with deeply caramelised edges.
(b) blueberry jam runs through the middle, adding a dark berry centre with a sweet-tart flavour that cuts through the richness of the cheesecake.
(c) a generous layer of peanut butter crumble finishes the top, bringing roasted peanut flavour and a dry, crumbly texture that contrasts with the creamy cheesecake and sticky jam beneath.
The balance between the peanut and blueberry is what gives this cake its character. Peanut butter flavours are naturally rich, roasted and slightly savoury, while blueberry jam is sweet, fruity and acidic. The fruit prevents the cake from becoming too heavy, while the peanut crumble keeps the flavour warm and substantial. Texture is equally important: creamy cheesecake, jammy fruit and crunchy crumble appear in the same bite, making this one of the more varied cheesecakes in the collection.
Peanut Butter Jelly is deliberately more playful and less traditional than Classic Strawberry or Pistachio. The flavour combination is familiar, but the cheesecake format gives it a more indulgent interpretation. The blueberry centre becomes especially noticeable when the cake is sliced, while the generous crumble topping gives it a rustic bakery appearance. It is a flavour built around contrast—sweet against slightly savoury, soft against crunchy, and creamy against fruity—rather than relying on one dominant ingredient.
