Our Chocolate Burnt Cheesecake is the most chocolate-forward flavour in the collection, built for customers who want chocolate to remain present throughout the entire cake rather than appearing only as a topping. Chocolate is incorporated directly into the burnt cheesecake base, giving the interior a deeper cocoa flavour while the exterior develops its characteristic dark caramelisation. The result is richer than the classic cheesecake but still retains the dense, creamy texture of a proper burnt cheesecake.
The cake is built in four distinct layers:
(a) the Chocolate Burnt Cheesecake forms the foundation, providing a creamy baked chocolate base with deeply caramelised edges.
(b) a generous layer of Chocolate Cream sits over the cheesecake, introducing a softer and lighter chocolate texture.
(c) smooth Chocolate Ganache adds a richer and more concentrated chocolate layer above the cream.
(d) Chocolate Feuilletine finishes the cake, bringing a delicate crispy texture that contrasts with the soft layers underneath.
The different textures are particularly important in this flavour. Without them, a fully chocolate cheesecake could easily feel too dense or repetitive. Instead, the cheesecake provides weight and creaminess, the chocolate cream adds softness, the ganache contributes a silkier and more intense chocolate flavour, and the feuilletine gives a light crunch at the end. The slightly bitter notes from the caramelised cheesecake exterior also help balance the sweeter chocolate toppings.
Chocolate Burnt Cheesecake is intentionally indulgent, but it is not simply a chocolate cake presented in cheesecake form. The burnt cheesecake remains the foundation of the dessert, and every additional layer is designed to change either the intensity or the texture of the chocolate. The result is a multi-layered chocolate dessert that moves from creamy to silky to lightly crisp within the same bite, giving it considerably more depth than a standard chocolate cheesecake.
